The Oakland A's drafted Eric Byrnes in the eight round of the 1998 Amateur Draft and the talented left fielder never looked back. He made the big club in 2000 and remained with the A's until 2005, when he spent part of the season with the A's, part of it with the Rockies and part of it with the Orioles. Byrnes joined the Diamondbacks in 2006 and is still with the team today. At one point during the 2007 season, he reached base in 31 straight games.
